Dr Amanda Slevin gets job at NUIG
Dr Amanda Slevin - who completed her doctorate with us here in UCD School of Sociology, and has been working on the Generation What? project, which should be aired on RTÉ2 later in the year – has been appointed to a lecturing position in the School of Political Science and Sociology at NUI Galway. RTE shooting on campus with former students
RTE was shooting on campus yesterday for the documentary "Generation What?", which is scientifically accompanied by several members of the School of Sociology at UCD. The documentary is about the young generation in Ireland, their values, ideals and aims in life. Our former students Kevin Myers and Amanda Slevin will present the sociological findings from interviews and a larger survey carried out in 2016.
